We are a small in-home program. Our breeding dogs live with us in our home, with other members of the family or in guardian homes and receive lots of love and attention. They camp with us, they go out with us, they are family members. Our intent is to breed happy, healthy goldendoodle puppies for other families to experience the same joy we get from our dogs. When we brought home our first doodle, Zoey, we were smitten. She's sharp as a whip, goofy, affectionate, loving and so athletic. Soon after, Jax joined our family at a time I was grieving the loss of our mixed rescue that lived longer than the vets predicted he would with his heart condition. I was devastated, he was the first dog I'd ever had, he taught me how the power of a dog could fill my heart.
Utilizing Embark and Paw Print Genetics to genetically test all of our breeding dogs ensures we don't pair dogs that could pass genetic diseases down to pups. Our breeding dogs are also checked and cleared by our vet for breeding. We are also proud to be Baxter & Bella Partners. As mentioned on our Home Page, we are committed to making sure our puppies are healthy, well socialized and confident before going to their forever homes. By incorporating the following, we are giving our puppies the best possible start: ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction), purposeful daily handling from week 3 until go home to get them used to intense human interaction, and lots of enrichment activities. During curriculum, it may seem like just normal play and toys that puppies are being exposed to, but each enrichment activity is done thoughtfully while working to build their trust in us and confidence in themselves. Before they go home, they'll have also have a head start on potty training and crate exposure. We also temperament test our puppies to ensure we can help match puppies to the right families. By doing this evaluation, we are able to assess a series of traits, provide you with this information via videos of the tests so you can view them and make a decision on which puppy is right for you.
